WLLR Sheep Wagon running as a Flat Wagon
£8.00
This is a design by Banwy Models. In 1911 the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway converted 6 open wagons into sheep wagons. These had removable sides and ends. The wagon represents the sheep wagon without its sides and ends and with the brake gear modified by the GWR.
The model will need paint, couplings and wheels (8mm diameter) to complete.
The model is designed for the wheels to drop in by gently prising the W irons apart. It may be possible to fit DP09 bearings from Dundas but this has not been attempted.
For every wagon sold a donation will be made to the WLLR.
