GWR (WLLR) Timber Bolster Converted to Open

This is a design by Banwy Models of the Timber Bolsters built by the GWR in 1924 for the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway which were subsequently converted to open wagons

The model will need paint, couplings and wheels (8mm diameter) to complete.

The model is designed for the wheels to drop in by gently prising the W irons apart.

They would have been painted all grey but they make a nice short open which could easily be used elsewhere, possibly in a maintenance train, hence the red livery in the photo.

For every wagon sold a donation will be made to the WLLR.
